Manchester United's Tomasz Kuszczak has withdrawn from the Euro 2008 Poland squad with a back injury.
The goalkeeper, who was vying for the number one jersey with Celtic's Artur Boruc and Arsenal's Lukasz Fabianski, has been ruled out for three weeks after picking up the injury in training.
United have been assured that the 26-year-old will be fit for the start of the next Barclays Premier League season.
He underwent an MRI scan and was subsequently ruled out for three weeks, but will be fit and ready to resume pre-season training next month.
