Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas believes last season was his best for the club.
The England international featured in 45 of the club's 57 matches and helped Spurs to Carling Cup glory.
He was a consistent figure in midfield, often supplying a goal threat with his runs into the box.
"I thoroughly enjoyed the season," Jenas told Spurs' official website. "It was my best here so far, definitely.
personal note
"There were lots of positives in terms of our first cup win but we didn't finish where we wanted to in the league.
"It's important to change that. We need to find consistency, especially looking at when we went ahead in a number of games towards the end of the season but ended up drawing, we need to have that killer instinct about us and if we can change that, then we'll be fine.
"On a personal note, yes, I think I had a good season and I want more of the same, to keep playing well for Tottenham. I want to improve and become an even better player here."
