Brazil have played down the injury sustained by Manchester United's Anderson against Argentina.
Team doctor Jose Luiz Runco does not believe the knee injury the midfielder suffered in the 0-0 draw is serious.
Anderson went off in the first half of the World Cup qualifier at Estadio Mineirao after twisting his left knee.
further tests
Runco, who is still waiting for the results of further tests, said: "Anderson felt an injury to his knee, a twist. However, it doesn't seem so serious. We will be sure only after the MRI scans."
Anderson had been selected to play for the Under-23 side in a friendly in Volta Redonda against a combination of Rio de Janeiro-based players on Sunday.
Runco added: "Only after the scans we will be able to make a decision about Anderson's participation in Sunday's match."
