Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho says he is fully prepared for their opening match against Portsmouth next week.
The centre-back had an impressive pre-season guiding the Blues to four clean sheets in five matches and conceding only one goal.
Carvalho revealed that team morale is high and the club is fully prepared for a tilt at the Barclays Premier League title.

The signing of Portugal duo Deco and Jose Bosingwa have made Chelsea an even stronger proposition for glory next term.
Carvalho said: "We have great players and it is important for us to carry on winning every match and win more trophies.
"We have the quality and we are expecting trophies this season. We have had a good pre-season and I look forward to starting it for real now."
