Tony Pulis says Stoke City have performed admirably in the top-flight - despite losing three of their first four matches.
Stoke's campaign began with a 3-1 defeat at Bolton Wanderers on 16th August, and Sunday's 3-2 home loss to Everton followed the 2-1 reverse at Middlesbrough prior to the international break.
The undoubted highlight of Stoke's season came in their first home match when Mamady Sidibe's last-minute goal gave the club their first, and only, Barclays Premier League victory, 3-2 against Aston Villa.
Pulis admits that conceding goals is a problem for the Potters, but the Stoke manager is happy with the way his side have generally performed.
done okay
"I think we have done well in every game. We were very unfortunate at Middlesbrough because we did very well until we had the player (Amdy Faye) sent off, and I thought we did okay against what was a very strong Everton side," Pulis said.
"Apart from (Leon) Osman, that was probably as strong a side that (Everton manager) David Moyes could field.
"We have played Aston Villa and Everton at home. Everton finished fifth last season and Villa have improved their squad considerably and also finished well inside the top 10 last time and will be a top Premier League side again this season.
"But we have done okay against them. We haven't been short in many areas. We just need to tighten up and get some clean sheets, that's our biggest worry at the moment."
